Problem: Google sheets does not stay formatted when new responses come in!!! It is super annoying. There is a pretty easy work around. Check out the video to see how you can trick sheets into holding the formatting of your responses.
The only issue with this method is that it does not let you add additional columns and edit what is entered by kids in the sheet from what was originally submitted in the form. Have you experienced the same issue? My problem is that I use form submissions for goals in research period and then always type my own evidence of students working on that goal in another column as they show me grades or study sessions, etc.

ReplyDeleteChange the formula from !A:Z to !A:(whatever your last column you want to copy). This will let you write in the columns to the right.
Delete
