September Success Stories (Part One)

Heidi Morrissey used ScreenCastify in her classroom to record her screen while describing the directions for a more complicated assignment. She loved the program and is looking forward to creating some assignments with the program where she will speak Spanish on the screencast. This will be a great tool for her classroom!
Something Awesome to Try:
Use ScreenCastify to create a Screencast of your content. Screencastify will record your voice and whatever you are showing on your computer screen. Then use edpuzzle (a separate app) to turn that online video into an interactive video quiz!

"I tried a couple of lessons using Pear Deck. I loved it because all of the students were engaged and it was easy for me to get a quick check on how every student was doing with the subject matter. You can ask a question about any slide (or anything), while you are presenting. The downside is that I liked it so much that I purchased the upgraded version of the product.:)"Something Awesome to Try:
Set up your FREE pear deck account, create one title slide for a presentation, and verbally question your students using the "ask a question" button. The setup time for the teacher is almost nothing and the student engagement and feedback you get are invaluable. Step out of your comfort zone and start investigating Pear Deck now!
